Wipe clean with a damp cloth.Never leave a burning candle unattended. Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Trim candle wicks to 1/4 inch before burning. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, fans, and air currents. Do not place candles near sources of heat. Keep the surface free of wax spills and heat. Place the candle in an upright position. Never touch or move a burning candle. Don't burn a candle all the way down. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 0.39 inch (1 cm) of wax remains in a container. Never use water to extinguish a flame. It can use hot wax to splatter or break a glass container. Using a candle snuffer is the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering.
